NOTE: The Public Water Supply Section is responsible for enforcing rules and regulations pertaining to public water supply systems. Questions about private wells or systems that do not meet the definition of a public water system ["a system for the provision to the public of piped water for human consumption if the system serves 15 or more service connections or which regularly serves 25 or more individuals."
